Chiropractors embrace the body's natural ability for self-healing and homeostasis. We recognize that injury, stress, and chronic conditions of the nerves, muscles, fascia, joints and bones may require treatment to restore normal function. This allows the body to repair properly with normal motion and minimal scarring.
We provide non-invasive treatment techniques, which may include a combination of manual therapies, physical therapy modalities, exercise programs, nutritional advice, orthotics, lifestyle modifications, and patient education.Chiropractors do not prescribe medication or perform surgery. If your condition is not suited for chiropractic treatment, we refer you to a medical specialist.
Chiropractors, like medical doctors, are primary care physicians (no referral needed), however our emphasis is on manual therapy, not pharmacology. Therefore, many medical doctors tend to refer musculoskeletal cases to chiropractors or physical therapists for active, non-invasive treatments. Chiropractors are becoming the providers of choice as more people look for drug and opioid-free alternatives to relieve their symptoms especially chronic low back pain.
