Dr. Colby grew up in Othello, WA in the heart of the Columbia Basin or as the locals.
He was an athlete, playing both basketball and football.
After high school, he moved to Spokane intending to pursue a career in engineering.
His cousin, Dr. Karl Smith D.C., however, saw a promising chiropractor and suggested Dr. Colby shadow him for a few days.
In chiropractic, Dr. Colby found a way to combine his interest in how things work (biomechanics) with an ability to help people improve their lives.
Dr. Colby graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2007.
