I rarely take time to leave Google Reviews but, I wanted to ensure that I wrote out how thankful I am for Dr. Nimal's help at Active Integrative Medicine (AIM). I've played basketball my entire life and have never suffered an injury like I had 3 months ago. My right arm experienced a bit of nerve damage which negatively impacted both my personal & work life terribly.

After an evening in an ER, doctors appointments, x-rays/ultrasounds and a ton of prescribed painkillers - the issue was essentially left to me to find a specialist and begin the journey to full recovery. I met Dr. Nimal and she was extremely down to Earth; patient, both a great listener and conversationalist. She truly wanted to find the best solution towards remedying the crippling pain and for the first time in a long time (after having had numerous chiropractor experiences in the past) I felt cared for like a person, rather than simply another client in a long work day's agenda.

I've seen Dr. Nimal at minimum once per week, sometimes twice per week, for the past 3 months and I am so glad to be getting my life back on track as the summer is now finally beginning. She is such a thorough Chiropractor, and between that specific type of therapy, the Acupuncture that she provides as well, and what she has instructed me to complete at home in regards to personal exercises - they have truly made more of a difference than any painkiller could have benefited my scenario.

I'm truly thankful for my appointments and interactions with Dr. Nimal. I've lived in Durham Region for the past 10 years and I certainly believe that she is one of the greatest doctors here in our area. Thank you, Dr. Nimal, and to the team at Active Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Diane Peters is an excellent naturopathic doctor. She has the best pathways to health. She is efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend seeing her for any issues you are having. She has literally saved my health and gave me back quality of life.

Dr. Nimal is talented, patient and kind. She has excellent communication skills which helped me in understanding my pain, how to manage it and techniques to assist with healing. At no time did she get distracted, leave the room, or make me feel rushed. Her sole focus was on me and my health care needs. Dr Nimal not only focussed on methods to lessen my symptoms, but she placed a lot of emphasis on getting to the root cause of my pain issue. I highly recommend Dr. Nimal. She is truly wonderful.

Dr. Diane Peters provided a good explanation of my symptoms and asked pertinent questions. The only critique was the problem with the technology (Jane) that didn't allow for video and then cut out mid-call. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

Jackelyn was very strong and precise in working out my problem areas. She met me at my threshold and with artistic control alowed for a deep tissue massage from which I woke up the next day feeling rejuvenated. "From passion one may devise a mastery. A massage encompassing healing and relaxation. Hence, the gateway to a heightened quality of life."

Dr Ho is such a compassionate, kind professional and always makes me feel at ease. She has been an integral part of my health journey and I know I'm in good hands. All of my encounters with staff at the AIM clinic has been warm and inviting, and especially during the uncertainty of the Covid pandemic they have always made me feel safe and supported.

This wasn't quite the same as an in-person appointment, but I did find it excellent and a great tool for communicating and sharing some of the issues I am dealing with. The screen sharing and ability to have my web-cam in hand also were very useful. Obviously this is also very convenient and safe!

I am currently seeing Dr. Germann for multiple issues and he is so educated and passionate and thorough. He has helped me recover and regain the quality of life I enjoyed before my injury. I would recommend this clinic for everyone who is looking for amazing chiropractors with a more modern and evidence based approach to therapy. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Lester is an excellent choice for chiropractic care. In my many years of care from various chiropractors, he is one of the best. I always leave feeling better, and I go longer between treatments now. He is very gentle and thorough too.

Chiropractic works! Dr. Darrin Germann treated me for a nagging neck and shoulder injury and with only a couple of treatments, and by following his advice and suggestions, I am now pain-free! He's thorough, professional, caring, and very personable! I highly recommend him!
