Chiropractic is a form of healthcare that deals with the structure of the spine as a direct relationship to the function of the nervous system.
Chiropractors understand that nerves are the primary regulators, controllers and responders to stimulus and they should be considered carefully in the cause of physiological dysfunction, pain and even disease.
Chiropractic is based upon the principle of cause and effect, or stimulus and response.
A prime example of unconscious regulation of function by the nervous system would be thermoregulation.

When a new patient presents to a Chiropractic office, the first step in determining the underlying problem for the patient case consists of an examination.
Chiropractors are trained to examine the entire musculoskeletal system thoroughly -which encompasses every bone in your body- and are astute professionals in diagnosing, and treating, musculoskeletal problems.
During the examination, the doctor will ensure your case can benefit from Chiropractic care and determine if X-ray analysis is relevant for your specific case.
