Easy access in Murrysville right across the street from Ferri's next to the old post office. Parking is available in any of The Annex and Church parking spots. Dr. Antonucci has gone through extensive training and practice to break out of the "old school" chiropractic pattern of only treating the spine. Today's chiropractor needs to be versatile in treating the entire musculo-skeletal system (shoulders, knees, ankles, wrists, etc.) because our bodies, mechanically speaking, work as a single unit.
For example, if someone has an old ankle injury that they walk improperly on, then they will consistently disturb the attempted correction to the hips and lower back. This means the ankle needs to also be addressed to help the patient get better faster and stay better longer. The body must be treated as a "whole". We pride ourselves on getting our patients better as fast as possible and training them how to stay well for as long as possible.
Starting with a thorough exam to properly identify your overall health and injuries, we then set a plan that is going to work best for you as an individual.

Since I was young I've enjoyed puzzles and took everything apart trying to figure out how it worked.
By 5th grade I knew I wanted to work on one of the most complicated machines we know of.
Today, after practicing since 2002, I am building my own practice in Murrysville, PA called Active Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, LLC and love working on all of these wonderful patients.
It's a welcome challenge to handle each puzzle that my patients bring me and to work in and out of the box to get them better as fast as possible holistically using chiropractic, physical therapy, nutrition, and supplements (when needed).

I called my practice Active Chiropractic because motion (being active) is incredibly important to the joint and muscle healing process.
It helps lubricate, increase range of motion and strength, forces you to stabilize, and increases circulation to bring in nutrients and work out damaged tissue.
The CDC recently rated the sedentary lifestyle as dangerous as smoking.
Bracing things or immobility causes weakness, instability, and adhesions which slows the healing process.
There is a time and a place for bracing but as soon as one can safely move, get Active!

Anywhere between 30-60 minutes is normal due to the extent of the exam, treatments, and number of areas being examined and treated.
Arriving about 10 minutes early to fill out some paperwork also helps keep the time reasonable.
If any red flags are seen or with preference, X-rays will be referred to a nearby facility.
You can also download, print, and have it ready for when you walk in.
This is dependent on a number of factors.
The extent of the injury, how long it has been there, how fast you heal as an individual, your age, your daily stress levels, what lifestyle changes we need to make to avoid aggravating the injury (posture, diet, activities), and how well you follow the plan.

Let's be honest, the word "can't" is very rarely used properly.
In my house growing up and currently with the 3 kids we have now, Can't is another dirty 4 letter word.
What people really mean when they use that word is: No, I don't want to; It's not high enough on the priority list to make happen; or I don't know how.
This becomes very important in communication with people in general but especially for those that are trying to coach you for generally improving your situation or in my case for moving towards a healthier more ACTIVE lifestyle.
