Headaches, neck, and back pain are probably the most common reasons that bring people to our office. Mainly, because we have such good results treating these conditions. Our procedures include various types of chiropractic adjustments and often, acupuncture. We have found a combination of the two options seems to have a much faster and longer lasting benefit.

For years, our clinic has been a leader and referral destination for work-related injuries. We try to safely return you to full duty employment in as little time as possible. We also have experience in working with your employer and insurance carrier. Unfortunately, automobile accidents happen and often times spinal injuries are the result. Our office is well versed with the treatment of these injuries and the rehabilitation process necessary.

We have working relationships with various healthcare providers, insurance companies, and attorneys. We not only provide pre-pqrticipation physicals, but we are also there if an injury occurs.
Services
A chiropractic adjustment is a procedure performed by a specialist (chiropractor) to restore motion to a fixated joint or segment of the spine.
It is performed either manually by hand, or with a small adjusting instrument.
Three of the more common symptoms relieved by an adjustment are neck pain, headaches, and lower back pain.
A chiropractic adjustment is different from a spinal manipulation in that the adjustment is more specific and precise.
It is much more than "cracking a bone".
As stated earlier, it restores motion to a restricted joint or vertebrae.
This is just another service we offer for our patients.
Acupuncture is a type of treatment utilizing thin needles inserted through the skin at various points of the body.
The length of the needle and depth of penetration can vary.
Modern research validates the use of acupuncture to relieve pain or many other symptoms.
Traditional acupuncturists consider the balancing of the body or restoration of the flow of chi throughout the person.
Many of the western style acupuncturists lean towards the musculoskeletal points to reduce pain and enhance healing of damaged tissues.
Heel pain, often diagnosed as plantar fascitis, is a common problem in today's world.
Many folks have tried various home remedies with little, or no relief.
Some have tried steroid injections or expensive orthotics with mixed or short term benefit.
The syndrome affects approximately 1 million people in the USA per year.
The plantar fascia is a thick band which stretches from your heel to your toes.
This band of fibrous tissue becomes irritated or inflammed when it is stretched too much or too often.
Depending on cause and severity, dry needling is a safe option prior to expensive imaging or procedures.
This relatively new treatment option has been very beneficial in relieving many types of muscular or joint issues.
Before we go any further, let's clarify a few points.
Sciatica is a term used to describe back pain which radiates into or down the side or back of a leg.
The distance down the leg and the type of pain can vary.
The pain may only travel to the top of the buttock, or all the way down the the foot.
If you are new to South Dakota or Eastern Wyoming, one of the first things you may be looking for is a chiropractor.
Whether you have just moved to the area or have decided to try chiropractic for the first time, you have plenty of options in our region.
Our office routinely sees patients from not only SD and WY, but also Montana, North Dakota, and Nebraska.
Whenever I have an existing patient ask for a recommendation for a chiropractor in a new city or state, I usually give them the same answer.
