Chiropractic care is the art, science and philosophy of caring for the human body while maximizing its neurological function.
It is a popular, drug-free approach to reducing pain and dysfunction while optimizing the potential for wellness and vitality.
Initially, our goal is to increase joint range of motion, reduce inflammation and spasm, while opening up nerve pathways that lead to healing.
As the symptoms are reduced, we switch our focus to lifestyle changes and home care.
This shift ultimately leads to the final phase of wellness care, which is intended to maintain function through routine chiropractic adjustments, while continuing with lifestyle coaching including exercise, weight loss, sleep and nutrition planning.

The field of obstetrics has determined that the correct positioning of the baby in-utero affects the birth outcome.
Proper positioning also decreases the potential for undue stress on the baby's developing spine and nervous system.
Recent research also demonstrates that specific chiropractic approaches, such as the Webster Technique, help the pelvic floor to relax, ensuring an easier exit for the baby through the birth canal.
The Webster Technique involves a specific analysis of the pelvis, with emphasis on the positioning of the sacrum and sacroiliac joints during pregnancy.
