Electrolysis is a treatment for the permanent removal of unwanted hair.
A very fine, sterile probe is inserted into a hair follicle and a slight amount of electrical current is applied destroying the hair root and further growth.
The treated hair is removed.
Electrolysis is effective at permanently destroying actively growing hair-hair that is above the skin surface.
Because hair actively grows over weeks and months, a series of treatments are needed for each area according to the growth schedule of the hair.
