As a Primary Spine Care facility, our services have been deemed necessary by both the Federal and State Government agencies. We have increased our sterile procedures to exceed CDC guidelines and have changed our scheduling to help limit the number of people in our facility at any one time. We will continue to stay on top of circumstances as they develop and will keep you informed (we will be updating our website to include frequent information about the virus but also about our office).

We also plan to provide phone consultation (telemedicine) for our patients to assist those not able to come for whatever reason. Simply call our office and we will set up a time for anyone in need. This will be for not only our current patients but also any new patients that may call with an acute problem. We are currently open and plan to remain open to help service our community to the fullest of our ability.

We believe that providing much needed services to our patients is of utmost importance! Our fast paced lifestyles can include outdoor activities to provide nature's health benefits for improved quality of life.
Services
At the Thorpe Chiropractic Office we believe that healthy people generally are not hampered by spinal problems.
Therefore, our approach is focused not only on rapid relief of pain but also helping our patients to learn to be healthier so that this can permeate to all aspects of their lives.
Our doctors always provide cost efficient and a conservative, evidence-based approach in the treatment of a wide variety of spinal related disorders, all in a friendly and comfortable environment.
Caring for yourself as an expectant mother is important to both short and long term wellness and health.
Did you know that doctors of chiropractic complete a minimum of 4 years of classroom and clinical study hours, and complete board examinations before they can become licensed doctors?
As you might expect, doctors of chiropractic must also maintain their licensure by completing continuing education coursework relative to providing the best care possible for their patients.
Primary spine care is a "new" field of health care, focused on the diagnosis and management of spinal related disorders.
A PSP can be Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), a medical doctor (MD), a doctor of osteopathy (DO) or a doctor of physical therapy (DPT).
Current efforts in spine care are disjointed, inefficient, and largely ineffective.
Such efforts are increasingly being dominated by specialists and specialized procedures usually applied in isolation, with little or no communication, organization or cooperation.
The primary purpose of the first visit is for the chiropractic PSP to get to know you and your condition.
He or she will ask you for certain details about the history of the problem and will perform a comprehensive examination for the purpose of establishing a diagnosis.
Then, the chiropractic PSP will discuss with you his or her findings and your diagnosis and, if your case is accepted, will discuss the recommended treatment(s).
The vast majority of conditions (spinal related disorders) that we treat do not require x-rays, MRIs, or laboratory tests initially in treatment.
Every patient's health care needs are unique.
In order to provide you with optimal care, a careful review of your health history as well as considering current challenges will help TCO's professional staff determine effective treatment protocols.
All patients have expectations for care that results in restoration of health through pain relief and health management.
Be sure to discuss this with a TCO doctor.
Think of the human body as a machine that must operate smoothly every day.
When problems occur causing the machine to malfunction slightly, sometimes ignoring the problem can turn into a more significant problem.
