Thank you for taking the time to meet your Doctor at Live Well.
Hamilton Taylor, DC, is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Palmer College was the first Chiropractic school in the world and is to chiropractic what sterling is to silver.
He began his journey towards becoming a doctor after suffering a neck injury while playing football in high school.
He was told with the damage that he sustained that playing football was no longer an option.
After seeking help from many doctors and physical therapists, a chiropractor helped him, and he was able to return to playing the sport that he loves.
At Live Well Chiropractic we strive to get you back to happy and healthy as fast as possible!
By eliminating subluxations (pinched nerves), we help the body heal itself and return to normal.
All this without the use of unnecessary drugs, needles, surgeries, & invasive procedures!
Most patients have reduced symptoms after their first treatment, but like any medical treatment, you might feel the symptoms return.
The most important thing to do is inform the doctor on your next appointment, explain what you have experienced, and follow the home instructions given to you by doctors at live well.
Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints.
No, but the health benefits of continued chiropractic care may compel you to maintain wellness visits as part of your health routine.
We treat patients with a multitude of conditions including colic, torticollis, digestive difficulties, sciatica, indigestion, neck and back pain or discomfort.
Your carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway located in the wrist.
This "tunnel" allows for the median nerve, which extends from the spine to the hand, to pass through.
Any swelling of the carpal tunnel can cause compression on the median nerve, resulting in carpal tunnel syndrome and potentially cutting off or limiting feeling and movement to portions of the hand.
Women are three times as prone to developing the condition as men.
Experts are unsure why women are more likely to get CTS, but it's suspected it may be due to the smaller size of most women's carpal tunnel.
Back pain is one of the most common reasons people go to the doctor or miss work and a leading cause of disability worldwide.
If prevention fails, chiropractic treatment and proper body mechanics often will heal your back within a few weeks and keep it functional for the long haul.
Surgery is rarely needed to treat back pain!
Muscle or ligament strain: Repeated heavy lifting or a sudden awkward movement may strain back muscles and spinal ligaments.
If you're in poor physical condition, constant stress on your back may cause painful muscle spasms.
