At our Spinal Aid Center in Latham, we help patients suffering from headaches, neck pain and back pain who respond well to traditional chiropractic. But, we also evaluate and treat patients with more severe and chronic back and neck conditions that chiropractic and other conservative treatments such as physical therapy, steroid injections and pain medications have been unable to relieve.

In fact, we often find that many of the "back pain" patients who come into our office for an evaluation, have been on long term analgesics or have had a series of injections that only provided temporary relief. While mild back pain often resolves with rest and perhaps minimal therapeutic intervention, the more severe and chronic back conditions typically continue to degenerate and worsen with time.

Our office specializes in the chronic and often " difficult to treat" back pain scenarios. Over the past 18yrs in practice, Dr. Milham has consistently implemented the most advanced state if the art technology to provide a comprehensive, innovative and non-surgical approach to the treatment of severe and chronic back pain conditions such as: spinal stenosis, herniated disc, bulged disc, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, facet arthrosis, and failed back surgery.

Today, you will not have to live with that pain anymore.
Thanks to the concerted efforts of a team of top physicians and medical engineers, Spinal Decompression was developed to effectively treat lower back pain and sciatica resulting from herniated or deteriorated discs.
Spinal Decompression not only significantly reduces back pain in many patients, but also enables the majority of patients to return to more active lifestyles.
Does Spinal Decompression really work?
Spinal Decompression has been proven effective in relieving the pain associated with bulging and herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and even relapse or failed back surgery.
Chiropractors can correct subluxations through a manual adjustment and exercises to be followed at home.
During the actual adjustment a popping sound may be heard as the vertabrea are re-aligned.
Each year in the United States, 1 in 4 adults experiences low back pain - a condition that can be frustrating and difficult to treat.
Low back pain is the main reason why people seek chiropractic care.
Research shows that chiropractic adjustment may offer mild to moderate relief from low back pain.
Chiropractic care is an outgrowth of belief in these concepts: Your body has a natural and powerful ability to heal itself.
One session of Spinal Decompression therapy usually last about one hour.
It consists of a 30 minute treatment on the DRX-9000, followed by a 15 minute IFC treatment and finished with cold laser therapy for 7-10 minutes.
Since I began Providing Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy with the DRX-9000, I have been inundated with questions from both doctors and patients as to which conditions can be treated most effectively.
Herniated Discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease and failed back surgery, are some of the conditions the may qualify for Spinal Decompression Therapy.
