Services
Dr. Scott Burtis completed his chiropractic education in 1987.
For a year, he worked with Dr. Robert Thatcher, a leader in the chiropractic profession.
Following this vital training, Dr. Burtis decided to open his own practice.
He and his wife, Monica, began looking for the right opportunity.
They discovered that a chiropractor in Fairmont was soon retiring.
During their first visit, they interviewed the mayor and other people in town to get their take on how it was to live here.
They loved the close-knit feel of the town, excellent school districts and the beautiful lakes that surround the area.

As a teenager, Dr. Burtis lost both of his parents to cancer.
With an interest in helping others, he considered becoming a medical doctor.
It wasn't long, however, before Dr. Burtis became concerned with Western medicine's emphasis on drugs and surgery.
Around the same time, he ran into a classmate from college who had continued onto chiropractic school.
Dr. Burtis knew it was exactly what he was looking for, and it inspired him to choose a new path.
He enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University, graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1987.
